Gastro-intestinal examinations nowadays are conducted almost exclusively endoscopically. By using high-definition video endoscopes and optimal sedation concepts we are able to offer careful, painless and significant examination methods.

Along with the endoscopic examination method at ever-improving high image quality, the interventional endoscopy has experienced rapid developments, in the gastrointestinal field as well as in the field of the bile ducts. A great number of diseases, which had to undergo classical surgery in former times, can be treated careful and with minimally invasive effort.

Our center and Dr. Greimel are recognized specialists in the area of these highly complex interventions. We successfully offer all conventional interventions for many years. In addition we were able to develop and establish new and innovative techniques. Especially with regard to endoscopic tumor therapy, new methods may replace quite a number of surgical interventions.
